Mursi failed in government building

An Iranian expert in regional affairs says the failure of the ousted Egyptian president Mummad Mursi in managing the transition of the Muslim Brotherhood from struggle to government building was to blame for the current crisis in the country.

Mosayyeb Naimi told Qudsna that Mursi as a senior member of the party could not meet the expectations of the Egyptian society that were rather more than the era of the ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak.

Naimi said the nation expected Mursi to rectify the Mubarak era's approach towards the Zionist regime and to adopt a proper stance towards the revolutions in Muslim countries.

The analyst forecast however that risks of an internal war in Egypt was low in light of the records of the Egyptian people.

He said Egypt was never on the verge of a long period of political tension.
