Attack on Syria, irreparable mistake
A senior Palestinian figure says the US intervention in Syria was rejected, adding that the US adventurism in the country will only stiffen the crisis there and will destabilize the whole region.
Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Abdorahim Malouh told Qudsna that the Palestinian movement favors democracy and talks in Syria, adding the Syria issue has many twists and must be handled with much care.
“The nation must and not foreign sides decide the fate of Syria,” he said, adding that an attack on Syria would be a large and irreparable mistake.
As for the PA-Israeli talks, the Palestinian personality said the movement rejects the talk as useless. Malouh argued that the talks started with US commitments.
“The US is not committed. It tends to back the Zionist regime of Israel,” he said.
“The US considers the Israeli interests as its own,” he said, adding the release of a few Palestinian captives from the Israeli jail was a conspiracy.
The Palestinian personality said Israel has continued its aggressions against the Palestinians even at time of talks.
“20 years after the start of talks, there has been no gain for the Palestinians,” he noted.
