Israel facing even more defeats

A former Iranian ambassador says the recent Israeli genocidal war on Gaza was different from its previous invasions of the besieged enclave in that this time Israel sought to flee the nightmare of its eventual collapse albeit to no avail.

Mohammad Hassan Qadiri Abiyaneh was speaking to Qudsna in Tehran.

The university professor said in previous invasions, the Zionist regime was in an occupying mood and sought to expand its territories however it currently has to take a defensive position due to its ever increasing weakness.

"Today, even the biggest supporters of the regime predict its eventual collapse," he said, adding that while the Israelis have abandoned their 'Nile to Euphrates' motto, Palestinian resistance has picked the motto of 'River to Sea' land, connoting that the resistance groups seek to liberate the entire historical Palestine.

The political expert touched on the failure of the Israeli Iron Dome system and said the regime would face even more defeats every time it initiates a new war.

In another regard, the expert tied the resistance power to its newer, more powerful weapons as well as higher Islamic moral among the Palestinian people compounded with the Islamic Republic's backing.

Asked about an offer for giving arms to the West Bank populations to defend their properties and lands against the Israeli forces, the expert said the situation would become ever more difficult for the regime once the offer is realized.
