Zionism is a colonialist thought

A Syrian publisher says Palestinians must be admired for their 66-year resistance against the Zionist regime with empty hands.

Representative of Dar al-Farqad publisher, Hadi Heidar was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the sidelines of the 28th Tehran International Book Fair that is underway in Tehran.

Heidar said Syrian youths grow unhappy when they see the Palestinians facing the Israeli technology with empty hands.

Asked about Syrian publishers' backlist on Palestine, Heidar said major titles have already been published about the Palestinian history and land by the publishers.

The Syrian publisher called the Zionist regime a faked entity without any history. "They abused the Judaism and created Zionism," the publisher said, adding that Zionism was a colonialist thought.

Heidar said all the exiting problems in the region had stemmed from the Zionist thought.
