West seeks to undercut Imam's doctrine

An Iranian lawmaker says the current internal conflicts within the Muslim community are part of a US and Israeli conspiracy designed to undercut the expansion of Imam Khomeini's thoughts in throughout the world.

"Enemies would never remain silent towards growing popularity of Imam Khomeini's political doctrine," Hojjatoleslam Sayyed Ali Mohammad Bozorgvari told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

The lawmaker touched on Imam Khomeini's concerns about the Palestinian issue and said Imam rushed to the help of the Palestinian nation as the most wronged nation in the world.

The parliamentarian added that the system of world arrogance has sought to divert attention and Muslim assets from the Palestinian issue by pitting them against one another.
