Day of Quds, opportunity to expose Israeli atrocities

Member of the Palestinian Fatah party, Mohammad Leham says the international solidarity day of Quds serves as an opportunity to expose the atrocities of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation in the eyes of the world community.

Leham was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the eve of the 38^th edition of the annual solidarity occasion.

Leham said the day must be used to absorb attentions to the status of the endangered Aqsa mosque and its guard who have been subject of daily violations.

Leham said the day must also be used to expose the Israeli settlement projects.

The Fatah member appreciated the late founder of Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini for the designation of the day, saying the late Imam developed a bond between the holy Aqsa mosque and the holy month of Ramadan.

The day of Quds is annually held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
