Lebanese expert: Zionist regime uses issue of Palestinian captives to compensate failures

Amin Muhammad Hoteit, expert in strategic international affairs believes that the Zionist regime tries to use the issue of Palestinian captives as a tool to compensate part of its failures in the face of the Palestinian resistance.

Hoteit noted that Israel, following the policy has pushed the number of Palestinian captives to 7500 from 5000 in the past three years.

The Lebanese army’s retired brigadier said the Zionist regime’s efforts to press the captives have been futile as the resistance leaders have reaffirmed their principle policy of resistance.
 
The political expert said the Zionist regime has realized that Palestinian either those residing in their original lands or refugees have underlined their decision for return. ”The issue has caused the Zionist enemy to feel internationally isolated,” he added.

Hoteit said Gaza has acquired some sort of immunity following its robust perseverance in the face of the Zionist regime.
