U.S. dictates Arab League decisions - Palestinian minister

Minister of Captives and Ex-captives BLASTED THE Arab League for its silence towards the Israeli desecration of the al-Aqsa mosque and called it one more loop of a chain of policy adopted by the regime since occupying Beit ul-Moqaddas in 1967.

Dr. Ataollah Abu al-Sabh told Qudsna that in 1967, following the failure of Arab armies and collapse of pan-Arabism, Zionists gradually dared enter the al-Aqsa Mosque.

“The same year, Menacem Begin, the then premier, was dreaming for detonating the Aqsa mosque however he considered it dangerous saying it may cause the world of Islam to rise against Israel,” al-Sabh said, adding that they may sigh for the days as they see the world of Islam preparing to rise up against the Zionists after ousting their puppet rulers in the region.

The minister said the Zionists seek to make al-Quds as their permanent capital, adding that the regime has drawn up a master plan for the city that considered building Jewish sites and settlements in an area of 200 square km while the original Quds are is 10 square km.

The minister then said the Zionists were stealing Islamic and Christian works from the city as part of their bid to give the city a Jewish air. He expressed regret that some Arab countries were supporting the Israeli move.

Al-Sabh blasted the Arab League and called it a dead political body. “Arab League decisions must first be approved in Washington,” he said, adding that the Arab League was supposed to support the regional resistance rather than compromise with Israel.

Palestinians could be freed from the claws of occupiers provided the Arab League moves to support the Palestinian issue free from the US support, he said.
