Egyptian presidential candidate: Next Egyptian gov’t will support Quds, cut ties with Israel

Abdallah Alashaal, a candidate in the next Egyptian presidential elections said a next Egyptian government will put top on agenda to support Quds and cut ties with the Zionist regime.

Also a former deputy Egyptian foreign minister, Ashaal was speaking to Quds News Agency (Qudsna).

Pointing to the recent Egyptian demonstrationist in support of the al-Aqsa mosque, the Egyptian personality said the demos stand proof that people no longer desire relations with Israel.

Asked about the foreign policy of the prospective Egyptian government, Ashaal said in Egypt, every one has understood that the west was not happy with the coming to power of stable, democratic government as it proves dangerous for the west. He believed that Israel would become nervous if Egypt adopts independent decisions. 

He said no power vacuum would be in place after the formation of government and Israel would be the main loser.

Asked about the current Islamic awakening, Ashaal said the Arab revolutions were a serious threat for Zionist regime and US plans for the region.
