Araki: Hostiles seek new insurrection in Iran

Before the official opening, thousands of people and scholars attended the ceremony and chanted slogans in support of the Iranian Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Following the ceremony opening, Mahmoudi, head of the Islamic approach council, said: "People came to the street on 9 December because Ashura was insulted and the Lolagar mosque was burned by the tyrant rebels.

“We are the descendants of the Resistance and we have sacrificed for 40 years, hostiles should know that their conspiracies and sedition will no longer effect on the will of the Iranian nation, we will not allow former experiences of enemy plots to be repeated,” said Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary-general of The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

He added: “We will confront the enemy in cultural and economic fields. The enemy once again has intended to outspread insurrections in Iran through virtual media and economic matters, We call on the government to take serious steps on resistive economy because we are in full economic warfare.”
