Behind the curtains of recent crisis in Iraq

Iran cannot leave Iraq in insecurity to become a center of conspiracy against domestic security or let it become part of the blockade and pressure against Iran. But the United States seeks to make Iraq part of the chain of its dependent powers in the region.

The Iraqi parliament held its first meeting three months after elections and casts, but failed to elect a parliamentary speaker.

New lawmakers in the first legal parliamentary meeting failed to elect the speaker of the parliament, and they left it for the next few days. The main reason for this political failure in Iraq is an argument between political groups and also foreign interference. In spite of widespread social protests that unfortunately killed about 50 people in Basra (protests that leaded foreign elements to undermine the country and bring it to the Iraqi foreign policy and influence the strategic relations with Iran which led to Iranian consulate burn in ashes in Basra) the parliament and political groups are still involved in rivalries. The same conditions can be observed in Lebanon and Libya, reflecting the proliferation of inefficient and weak governments in the region. There are currently two Shiite-based alliances in Iraq, and both claim to have a parliamentary majority:

1. A coalition formed by Sauron List led by Moqtada al-Sadr and the Nasr List under the leadership of Heidar al-Abbadi and the current al-Hikma list under Ammar Hakim, claiming to have a majority coalition with the Sunni and Arab Kurdish groups.

2. The coalition of Fatah's list led by Abu Hassan al-Ameri and the list of state rule led by Nouri al-Maliki, who claims to have formed a large coalition with Kurds and Sunni Arabs.

According to reports, a large number of representatives of the Nasr List (29 people) have announced that they have withdrawn and moved to the second coalition. But Iraqi lawyers believe that the Nasr coalition's division is not currently relevant to the formation of a new cabinet, and what has been set before the election should be based and that further splits will not be included in the calculation of the group that holds the majority. Because of these reforms, both groups claiming a majority took their objection to the Constitutional Court and are waiting for the court to decide whether the majority coalition should be based on the previous announcement or the current situation?

What is certain is that the unrest in Iraq is not only because of the domestic political argument, but the foreign involvement in this field is also a lot influential. The United States deployed a CIA officer McGovern to Iraq, who is trying to create a coalition against Iran in order to make Tehran's siege and economic sanctions more painful for Tehran. Iraqi ambassador's threatening SMS to elected representatives went viral and well proves foreign interruption in Iraq.

From other side Islamic Republic of Iran deployed Major General Qassem Suleimani to Iraq, who is seeking to perform a coalition with Iran to serve the interests of both nations simultaneously, and to make sure that Iraq will never become a handy tool for foreign powers to pressure Iran. Iran and Iraq are sharing borders less than 1000 km and the relations between the two countries are wide and diverse in size. Iran cannot leave Iraq in insecurity to become a center of conspiracy against domestic security or let it become part of the blockade and pressure against Iran. But the United States seeks to make Iraq part of the chain of its dependent powers in the region.

According to political analysts, Iraq is part of West Asian region, and without regional assistance, especially from Iran, could not win a war against ISIS. Indeed, the Iraqi coalition with the independent states of the region is a natural thing and is in direct relationship with its independence. However, Iraq's alliance with the United States will turn the country into a tool against the geographic environment of the region and will increase its domestic security costs.

On the other hand, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sistani in Iraq has already delivered important warnings in the context of inefficient and dependent government, according to the status of Ayatollah Sistani in Iraq who is a charisma figure in the country the Iraqi nation demand their representatives to obey his orders.
