Al-Azhar critiques Israeli crackdown of Palestinians

Prominent al-Azhar mufti slammed Zionist regime of Israel over continuing policy of crackdown on Palestinians and also silence of the international community to the issue.

Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb, top mufti of al-Azhar denounced Zionist Israeli regime in regards to intensification of situation during Palestinians’ march of return and crackdown of protesters on the border between occupied lands and the besieged Gaza, reported Qods News Agency (Qodsna).
 
He stressed al Azhar full support for the Palestinian nation in their campaign for retaking their ancestral lands to announce their independent country, Palestine with the capital of al-Quds.
 
Prominent Egyptian sheikh demanded the international human rights organizations to admit their legal and moral responsibility to end Zionist crimes against Palestinians and said,” Tel Aviv, in its heinous measure, has targeted the Palestinian citizens and Islamic sanctities.”
 
He stressed,” Continuation of crackdown policies by Zionist forces and the dual policies of the international community against crimes committed across the globe will eliminate public trust in human rights organizations.
 
Egyptian religious leader expressed condolences for the bereaved families of those martyred in public protests.
