Syria, Iraq must challenge US forces in Middle East

Qodsna (Tehran) - Speaking to Qods News Agency about the martyrdom of Gen. Soleimani, a member of Iran’s Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Bonabi said “Iraqi officials should take actions against the heinous crime of the White House.”

“We urge the Islamic governments in Iraq and Syria to challenge the presence of the US forces in the region,” he added.

The Iranian MP then talked about the recent NBC report about Joe Biden’s interest in reaching a new agreement with Iran in terms of Iran’s missile program, saying “Iran’s missile program is non-negotiable. This is a national security matter, I don’t see any chance for negotiating on this matter.”

“We have reached an agreement about our nuclear program, and that was meant to show the international community that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not want a nuclear weapon, and it is only about energy and medical purposes,” Bonabi underlined.
