Liberation of Palestine only
reachable with resistance

Qodsna (Tehran) - Speaking with Quds News Agency on Thursday, Mohammad Araghi, a member of the Assembly of Experts in Iran said that the Palestinian issue was one of the major concerns of Imam Khomeini even before the Islamic Revolution.

“After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, severing ties with the Zionist regime and the designation of International Quds Day was the most important step by Imam Khomeini to start his strategic path towards the Palestinian issue,” he added.

The senior cleric also noted that International Quds Day has many significant impacts, saying that “it revives the ultimate goal of the liberation of Palestine.”

“The path for a liberate Palestine does not realize by negotiation and talks, but it would make true by resisting against the Zionist regime,” Mohammad Araghi added.

“There was a period of time that the weapon of Palestinian youths was just hurling stones at Zionist forces, but now, thanks to advancements and progress of resistance groups, they are equipped with advanced missiles and rockets, which are able to target sensitive security locations of Israel,” he noted.
