Four main reasons why Israel
has boosted attacks against Palestinians

Dr. Salman Razavi
Tehran (Qodsna) - Speaking with Qods News Agency, a Middle East political analyst, Dr. Salman Razavi said that the Zionist regime has intensified its attacks against the holy city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa mosque because of four reasons
“Colonialist policies of the Zionist regime is the main part of recent Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Al-Quds, Gaza and the occupied West Bank,” he said.
He noted that Palestinians cannot tolerate these atrocities and occupational policies anymore.
Talking about Israel’s goal in recent days, Dr. Razavi added that “Israel seeks to destroy Palestine step by step, meaning that the Zionist regime prevents Palestinian buildings and destroys their homes at the same time to gradually develop its occupation across Palestinian lands.”
“Second reason is Benyamin Netanyahu’s extreme rightist approaches, which cause him to follow such policies to curry favor with extreme Zionists,” he said.
The Iranian Middle East expert then said that the third reason that pushes Israel towards escalating attacks against Palestinians is risen from the current situation in the region, as “some Arab states have normalized their ties with Israel, and as a result, they ignore Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.”
“This encourages Israelis to widen their crimes and attacks,” Razavi said.
“Fourth reason is related to Western support from illegal measures of the Zionist regime, which creates kind of immunity for Israelis in the international arena,” he stressed.
At least 136 Palestinians, including 38 children and 20 women, have been martyred and about 1,000 others injured in Gaza in the Israeli regime's latest round of aggression that began on Monday.
The development came as Israel has been pounding the blockaded enclave with repeated airstrikes for the past several days.
The United Nation said on Friday that it estimates some 10,000 Palestinians have had to abandon their homes in Gaza “due to the ongoing hostilities” amid an Israeli offensive.
