Sunni scholars express gratitude towards IR Leader over implementation of anti-Israeli operation

As many as 3,000 Sunni scholars have written to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, expressing their gratitude and support for the implementation of Iran’s recent operation against the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a letter addressed to the Leader on Monday, the scholars thanked Ayatollah Khamenei for “the strong and wise leadership” that led to the execution of the operation by the country’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) following a period of self-restraint.

The operation targeted the heart of the occupied territories with the “flames of the Muslim nation’s wrath, relieving the bereaved Palestinians and all of the world’s free-thinking people,” they wrote.

The operation also strengthened those fighting towards liberation of the holy occupied al-Quds to keep up their struggle against “the evil Zionist regime until the end of the dishonorable existence of this illegitimate child of the global arrogance,” they added.

On Tuesday, the Islamic Republic launched 200 missiles towards Israeli military and intelligence bases all over the occupied territories as part of Operation True Promise II in response to the Israeli regime’s deadly aggression against the country and other regional nations.

The aggression that prompted the retaliation had, among other things, led to the martyrdom of Hamas’s political leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah’s leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Abbas Nilforoushan, a senior IRGC commander.

The scholars also voiced their gratitude over the remarks that were made by the Leader during Friday prayers in Tehran following the operation.

Delivering the sermon, Ayatollah Khamenei hailed “the brilliant work” of the Iranian Armed Forces,” while describing the operation as ”completely legal and legitimate” and “the least punishment for the usurping Zionist regime over the astonishing crimes of this wolf-like regime and rabid dog of America.”

The Leader also asserted, “Whatever duty the Islamic Republic has in this regard, it will fulfill with strength and fortitude. We will neither delay nor hurry in carrying out the task.

Yemen unleashes new ballistic missile against Tel Aviv on anniv. of Oct. 7 operation

Yemen’s Armed Forces have targeted Tel Aviv with two ballistic missiles, including a new one, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Palestinian fighters’ historic Operation al-Aqsa Storm against the occupied territories.

Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced the strikes on Monday, identifying the projectiles as Palestine-2 and Zulfiqar. “The operation achieved its objectives successfully,” he said.

This was the first time, when the forces were deploying Zulfiqar, a highly-maneuverable radar-evading surface-to-surface missile with a range of more than 2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles), against the territories.

Earlier in the day, the forces had targeted Tel Aviv and the port of Eilat in the southernmost part of the territories with several Yaffa and Samad-4 drones, Saree added, saying, “A number of these drones successfully reached their targets.”

The operations marked one year since fighters with the Gaza Strip’s Hamas and Islamic Jihad resistance movements stormed the territories, seizing control of Israeli military bases and illegal settlements around the coastal sliver, and taking more than 240 Zionists captive.

Saree said the Yemeni strikes also meant to display the country’s continued support for the people of Gaza and Lebanon, who have respectively come under a genocidal war and escalated deadly attacks by the regime since the implementation of al-Aqsa Storm.

He said the Yemeni forces would keep up their operations until the regime ceased the war and a simultaneous siege that it has been imposing on Gaza, and also stopped its attacks on Lebanon.

Also on Monday, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the country’s Supreme Political Council, congratulated the forces for their unwavering support for Palestine and Lebanon, which has seen them launching numerous such strikes against the occupied territories since last October.

He also vowed that the forces would be “raining down hypersonic missiles” on the occupied territories “in the coming days” as means of making the Israeli regime “taste what the people of Palestine have endured."
