Yemen warns US, West:

We have 8 million fighters ready, may expand our war

Ansarullah has issued a stark warning to the United States and its Western allies, asserting that over eight million Yemeni fighters stood ready for combat and cautioning that their retaliation could escalate if aggression against the Arab Peninsula nation persisted.

Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior member of the Yemeni resistance movement's Political Bureau, made the remarks via his official account on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday.

“We advise the United States and the West to end their aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, or else our war against them will intensify and expand.”

The comments came amid ongoing American and British airstrikes targeting Yemen.

The American attacks were markedly intensified last month, under the so-called Operation Rough Rider, which had been authorized by President Donald Trump.

The campaign aims to halt Ansarullah’s strikes on Israeli and Israeli-linked vessels in Red Sea shipping lanes as well as the movement’s operations that have been hitting targets deep within the occupied Palestinian territories.

Yemen’s Armed Forces have been carrying out the strikes since October last year, when the Zionist regime began taking the Gaza Strip under a genocidal war and further tightened its already suffocating siege against the coastal sliver. The war has so far claimed the lives of nearly 52,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

Despite the Western allies’ bombardments, the forces have continued their pro-Palestinian operations, besides conducting many successful reprisal strikes against American military assets.

Recently, a US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet warplane fell into the Red Sea after the USS Harry S. Truman, an American aircraft carrier, made a hard turn to evade a strike by the Yemeni servicemen.
