Spokesman: Paris donors conference doomed
In his weekly press conference with domestic and foreign reporters, Sayed Mohammad Ali Hosseini told Qodsna that a donors' conference set to be held Monday in Paris, France in support of the Palestinian Authority is ineffective and useless.
Responding to a question about the effect of the Annapolis meeting on the current situation of the Palestinian people, Hosseini said Iran knew from the start that the conference would be of no help for the Palestinians.
"We expected the meeting would have noting for the Palestinians," he said.
What happens against the defenseless Palestinian people in the occupied territories confirms what IR of Iran predicted beforehand," Hosseini added.
"We believe that the Paris donors conference and any other conferences dubbed 'in support of Palestine' is doomed to failure and will be ineffective because none of them consider the roots of the Palestinian problems and are not based on a just agenda," the spokesman noted.
