PFLP urges AL to press Israel

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine on Friday called for an urgent meeting of the Arab League to halt Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip.

 

In a statement, the Popular Front condemned the Arab silence towards the continuous and systematic Israeli attacks.

 

It called for the convening of an emergency meeting of the Arab League in order to put pressure on Zionist regime to stop the attacks.

 

The Popular Front also called on the international community to intervene to stop the attacks, to lift the siege on the impoverished coastal region and to stop the Israeli plan to build more than 10 thousand housing units on Palestinian lands in Beit Ul Moqaddas.

 

The statement also said that news reports on the difficulty of stopping Palestinian rockets targeting Israeli cities were a victory for the resistance.

 

They also described Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' negotiations with the Zionist regime as futile.
