America's green light to Zionist regime

The American administration has given Zionist regime a green light for a major military operation in the Gaza Strip, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported Friday.

Citing anonymous high-ranking American officials, the newspaper said Zionist officials have been pressuring the United States to support Zionist regime's attack aimed at undermining the Palestinian military groups in the tiny coastal territory.

Zionist regime has reportedly sent fake reports to their American counterparts claiming that Palestinian combatants have managed to smuggle "unprecedented" quantities of arms into Gaza Strip.

High ranking officials, Al-Akhbar reported, believe that the alleged arms smuggling into the Gaza Strip "can be solved only with a massive military operation".s
