IRI greets Palestinians with open arm
Elham was speaking to reporters from home and abroad Tuesday morning when he was asked by Qodsna to comment on President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's invitation to the Palestinian leaders to tour Tehran.
Elham said the invitation had come out of IRI policy to support the Palestinian people, adding that the invitation should not be considered as extraordinary.
The spokesman however refused to confirm or reject the report.
Palestinian media Monday carried reports on a soon-to-be-held visit by heads of the Palestinian movements to Tehran.
Elham also welcomed a proposal by Saudi Foreign Minister to hold parallel conferences in response to the Annapolis confab, adding that IRI would welcome any proposal which helps unifies the Islamic countries and secures their interests.
