Palestinian history, awash with fruitless meetings - Senior Iranian deputy

Alaeddin Borujerdi, head of the national security commission in the Iranian parliament told Qodsna Tuesday that the Palestinian history is awash with fruitless meetings and conferences whose results were of no help to improve the Palestinian situation.

As long as millions of Palestinian refugees are not back to their lands to decide on their fate in fair election, such meetings will bear no constructive outcome, rather it will push back the Palestinian developments.
 
"Past experience has proved these conferences are doomed to failure. There is no reason to expect a thing otherwise in he future in light of the fact that no Palestinian movement would like to sit the meeting," he said, in reference to the Anapolis confab to be held in America.
 
Asked how the second APA assembly could prove significant for the Palestinian issue, the deputy said that the documents which are ratified in the meeting are helpful for the future of Asia, including Palestine.
 
In the same regard, Borujerdi noted that support for the Palestinian issue was top on agenda of the political committee of the APA general assembly.
