SDPN slams Annapolis confab

Iran-based Society in Defense of Palestinian Nation (SDPN) urged all Islamic countries not to participate in the Annapolis meeting.

SDPN on Monday issued a statement, describing the Annapolis meeting as America's last-ditch effort to escape from its internal, regional and international crises.

According to the public opinion office of SDPN, the statement also reads that this conference is a failure and would have any positive result for the Palestinian problems.

"America, by holding this confab, tries to cover up its defeats."

They also try to ruin the Palestinian's legal rights through an international conference, the statement reads, adding the conditions were more dangerous for the Palestinians.

"America is well aware about the failure of the conference however they try to draw a negotiation plan lasting for 6 months or about one year to decrease the expectations of this conference and justify its failure," the statement added.

"Arab and Islamic governors must know that America and Israel in order to save themselves need to victimize their allies including Palestinians presidency and other Arab and Islamic heads in the Middle East region," the SDPN warned.

"While the current American and Zionist regimes are suffering from severe crises, participation in the Annapolis meeting would be assistance to them," it added.

"Undoubtedly, participation of any Islamic government in this meeting at any level is a betrayal to the Islamic nation," the statement read.

"Those who are to make decisions in the conference regarding the Palestinian lands and the holy Qods are not the real representatives of the nation," it added.

SDPN also urged all Muslim scholars to stand against desecration of Muslim sites.
