Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said here on Tuesday that the Annapolis confab is aimed at justifying compromise with Israel.
Addressing the Majlis open session, he said certain Arab and non-Arab leaders have been invited to the upcoming so-called peace confab in Annapolis, Maryland, to make the event more important.
"The US administration which has disgraced the American people, believes that settlement of the Palestinian issue is indebted to the consent of certain Arab leaders," he added.
He reiterated that peace will not be materialized in the absence of justice.
The Annapolis confa is not anything more than other conferences of that kind including Madrid, Oslo, Camp David and tens of other meetings in which justice was not administered, the speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly added.
The Americans should be confident that as long as justice is not administered, the Palestinian resistance movement will continue, Haddad-Adel said.
The key to solve crisis in Palestine is not in the hands of the Arab leaders or participants in the US-backed conference on Palestine, Speaker, said.
"The key to settle the Palestinian crisis is in the hands of people whose rights have been taken away from them," added the speaker.
"The US thinks the question of Palestine will be answered just by consent of some Arab nations while it will only be settled through agreement of the Palestinian nation as well as those of the world Muslims and freedom seekers," Haddad-Adel stressed.
