Palestine to have meteorology equipments

 

Turkey announced it would install a computerized meteorology program in Palestine.

 

"We are planning to extend technical assistance to the Palestinians ," Adnan Unal, Turkish State Meteorology Affairs DG, said during a ceremony in which 17 Palestinian meteorologists received certificates at the end of a training program in Turkey.

 

Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) has trained the Palestinian meteorologists on forecast methods and techniques, how to use radars and agricultural meteorology since November 5th.

 

Turkey will also train Saudi Arabian meteorologists on satellite, radar and short-term forecast in coming months.
