Egypt rejects US conditions for aid

Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki on Friday said that Egypt renews full rejection of linking U.S. aid to certain terms or dictations.

 

According to Al Ahram, he said the pro-Israel lobby was behind the U.S. Congress' decision to reduce 100 million U.S. dollars in military aid until  Egypt  halts alleged weapons smuggling from Egypt into Gaza.
