Women protest against occupation
Hundreds of Palestinian women staged a protest in Holy Qods on Friday against the Zionist regime's occupation of Palestinian lands.
Protestors from Women in Black demonstrated near the home of the regime's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to mark the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the movement.
Jewish women from East Beit ul-Moqaddas joined the group of black-clad demonstrators, who carried signs that read: "Down With Occupation." A chorus sang in the background.
Women in Black were set up after the commencement of the first Palestinian Intifada against the Zionist regime's occupation in December 1987.
Since then they have been staging weekly demonstrations on Fridays across the occupied lands.
