Moussa slams int'l silence on Israeli crimes
Arab League Chief Amr Moussa denounced the international silence on the atrocious Israeli crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
On Saturday, Moussa condemned the international community's silence toward the Zionist atrocities committed against Palestinians, warning that the situation would become worst if the violence is allowed to continue.
In a statement, Moussa called on the Quartet, the UN Security Council to immediately intervene and stop the Zionist military operations in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Moussa said that the efforts promoted at the Annapolis meeting in the US would become a vain attempt to achieve stability in the region if the Zionist regime continued its current policies against Palestinians.
He called for Arab and international action to stop Zionits' violations and lift the imposed siege on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Arab foreign ministers are to hold a consultative meeting ahead of their urgent meeting to be held Sunday at the Arab League Headquarters in Cairo focusing on the latest Zionist attacks on Palestinians.
