Zionists: peace talks doomed to fail

The results of new opinion polls reveal that many Zionists remain skeptical about Bush's success in pushing Middle East peace forward.

According to a Dahaf Research Institute poll published in Israel's Yediot Ahronot newspaper on Thursday, more than seventy seven present of Israelis believed that the US President's visit would fail to bring peace to the region.

In a separate poll conducted by the Maagar Mohot institute, only thirty percent of Zionists were optimistic about Bush's success in fulfilling his Annapolis promises, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.

Bush arrived in Palestine occupied territories on Wednesday for a three-day visit aimed at promoting the so called Middle East peace talks, which was renewed at Annapolis meeting in late November.
