New Ultimatum: Semester to Cancel on Thursday

A Monday meeting between Israeli senior university faculty, representatives of the Finance Ministry and the University Presidents’ Committee produced no breakthroughs in negotiations.

As the meeting ended, the University Presidents’ Committee announced that if no strides are made by Thursday to end the lecturers’ strike, the current academic year will be officially canceled.
