Fatah officials in Gaza urge for unity

The Al-Aqsa television station aired the interviews with leading Fatah officials in Gaza.
Ibrahim Abu al-Naja, one of the Fatah officials spoke during the interview of the need to form a united front and resume talks between the rival Palestinian factions in the face of Israel's ongoing attacks in Gaza.
Al-Naja and fellow Fatah official Ahmed Hilas said during the broadcast that the "Palestinian blood being spilled is the blood of people from both Hamas and Fatah" and that Israel's weapons do not differentiate between the two organizations.
Jibril Rajoub, the former head of the Preventive Security Service in the West Bank for his part called on the factions to unite in light of the Israeli escalation.
