Solidarity event in Madrid

On Monday, June 17, Spanish artists demonstrated their support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and work of the Alternative Information Center (AIC).
Actors like Teresa Hurtado de Ory from "Marisol", Elio González from "Gran Reserva", Alfonoso Begara from "Bandolera", the poet Ruben Tejerina and rock bands like "The Government" and "Call me idiot" have been helping to organize a fundraising event in La Tournée (Plaza de la Cebada 2).
The money collected will help fund the AIC programme Culture is Resistance.
This programme strengthens socio-political capacities of women from Al-Khalil through art trainings, engages Palestinians and internationals in its "AICafe" events and curates exhibitions in sensitive locations such as East Al-Quds Silwan and the coastal city of Yaffa.
