No need for the likes of Hamad
Palestinian national cause currently suffers lack of a unified position. The absence of unity has already left a huge negative impact on the Palestinian ability in using the existing opportunities.
It seems that time has come for the Palestinians to forge their national unity rather than sit and follow the upper hand echelon's orders that largely stonewall the cause of unity.
If the Palestinian groups and parties tend to keep trust in the empty pledges of several Arab leaders or colonial powers, the Palestinian nation would remain exposed to newer conspiracies including the land swap deal that was floated by Qatar Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in a vist to the White House several weeks ago.
The initiative will eventually gift further portions of the Palestinian motherland to the Zionist regime.
Hamad is said to be born by a Jewish mother. True or not he is actually betraying the rights of the Palestinian nation by seeking to hand their land to Israel under a plan that is dubbed 'the Arabic Version of the Balfor Declaration.'
No Arab leader is entitled to call himself a representative of the Palestinian nation let alone the Qatari emir who has apparently sought to woo the US and Israel's support by floating the plan.
The submissive initiative has come at a time of a decline in the armed resistance by the Palestinian groups and a deadlock in the Palestinian national reconciliation talk.
Most Palestinians no longer favor their leaders as they have failed to employ the gains of the Arab revolutions in favor of the Palestinian nation. Some even enquire whether there is anything as national Palestinian cause and if yes, where are the red lines and who may allow himself or herself to consider concessions to Israel as part of the Palestinian national platform.
At time when many of the so-called leaders are prepared to auction the Palestinian land where is the Arab zeal. Where have the Arab armies gone? Perhaps the Palestinian problems would be eventually resolved through armed resistance, nothing more and nothing less.
