Peres to Kerry: Israelis want peace

Head of the Zionist regime Shimon Peres HAS met with US Secretary of State after the latter met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Peres has told Kerry that his regime is behind him and that the desire for peace in the form of a two-state solution has a solid majority in Israel.

Meanwhile, Israeli opposition leader Shelly Yechimovich has said on Friday morning that her party will back the coalition in the event of serious talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Yechimovich's remarks come as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry makes his fifth trip to the region since being taking office, in an attempt to get the parties back to the negotiating table.
