Zionist lobby tied to Intelsat ban

A senior Lebanese analyst says the Zionist lobby is behind the blocking of the Iranian TV channels in the Intelsat provider, adding that the western-Israeli moves against resistance media, including the Iranian TV channels shows how the media have been influential among the world populations.

Ghaleb Ghandil told the Iranian al-Alam TV channel that satellite providers in the west are following the demands of the world colonialist governments, adding that it was time for a revolution in the field of media so that they are freed from the western-made shackles.

The analyst said the US has been pursuing a double policy concerning world media as it allows Salafi groups to broadcast racist materials while barring some others against its own stated professional principles.

Member of the Lebanese national media council denounced the blocking of the Iranian media in the Intelsat as a crime against humanity, adding that the issue must be sued through the UN.

The barred media deserved to be handed sign of honor and dignity instead, he reckoned.
