Quds day, a chance to retable Palestinian plight
An Iranian expert in regional affairs believes that the Middle East equation was more in favor of the Palestinian issue than past.
Hassan Hanizadeh told Qudsna that the upcoming August 2 rallies of the international Quds ('Jerusalem') day was ever more important in light of the political developments.
The expert said some of the regional nations have toppled their puppet, pro-Israeli regimes and have taken their fate in their hand. The expert said this year's pro-Quds rally would thus have more momentum than before.
The expert said chances were abundant for tabling and resolving the Palestinian nation's problems, adding that the Zionist regime is increasingly being isolated due to the regional developments.
The expert warned about the widening Israeli settlement building in East Jerusalem and called on Muslims to use the international event to express their disgust at the regime.
Hanizadeh also touched on the EU's recent move in blacklisting the Lebanese Hezbollah movement and urged Muslims to condemn the move in the August 2 rallies worldwide.
