Quds day, day of oppressed

Head of Iran-based Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) Mohammad-reza Ayatollahi says Imam Khomeini was very rational in designating the international day of Quds as a day for the world's oppressed people and not Palestinians alone.
The senior pro-Palestinian activist told Qudsna that the time the day was designated few ones would recognize how broad sight the imam has had in the move.
"Today, we see the international occasion helps expose the world arrogance," the SDPN head said, adding that the world of Islam has realized that the sole way to be freed from the claws of the international Zionism is to renounce the Zionist regime.
The senior Iranian activist said the Palestinian issue has now turned into a test of sincerity for everyone that professes to be supporting Islam.
Touching on a western conspiracy to undercut the ongoing Islamic Awakening movement, the SDPN Head said the emergence of the Islamic Awakening was an earthquake for the Zionist regime and its allies.
"They decided in Herzliya 2012 meeting to undercut the movement through dividing Muslims and Syria was their first stage," he said, adding that fair individuals acknowledged that the hand of the world's arrogance is visible in the Syrian crisis.
