PA has no hope in current talks

A member of the Palestinian legislative council says the Palestinian Authority has actually sat negotiation table with a side that has never been ready to recognize any of the Palestinian rights.

Rabiha Ziyab told Qudsna that the PA authorities have no hope in the talks, adding that the existing conditions in the region would help the Zionist regime to keep its hostile policies against the Palestinian nation.

The official said the ongoing talks would in all likelihood bear no favorable results for the Palestinian nation.

The lawmaker said however that the Palestinian would not settle for anything less than the formation of a Palestinian state with Quds as is capital, as well as the return of the Palestinian refugees to their lands.

“We seek to show to the world that the Israeli side does not wish to see peace,” he said.

The lawmaker called on the world of Islam to heed the conditions of Palestinian captives who are languishing in the Israeli jails.
