West seeks to punish Syria over Israel

A Jordanian politician says the US warmongering policies against Syria are actually aimed at destroying the Syrian infrastructure and push the country out of the axis of resistance.

Muhammad Esnid made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna in Tehran where he is visiting as a member of a public diplomacy Jordanian delegation that carries the message of opposition to a US assault on Syria.

Head of the independent union of workers in Jordan, Esnid warned that any military intervention in Syria would translate into a disintegration of the country.

Esnid rejected the western chemical claims against Syria, adding that the real motivation behind the claims was that Syria has refused to bow to western demands concerning Israel.

The expert said the US would be accountable for any outcomes of its planned military adventurism in Syria.

The expert noted that Syria was among few regional countries that have no debt to the World Bank. “The US seeks to run in the Syrian economy,” he said.

The Jordanian politician said his nation opposes to the imperialistic US policies against Syria.
