Aqsa mosque division, a cultural crime

An Iranian parliamentarian says the Zionist regime's plan to divide the al-Aqsa mosque and set a worship timeframe for the sanctity was a cultural crime.
Naser Sudani told Qudsna that the Zionist regime apparently has been waiting for years to carry out the plan and now have found the opportunity amid the regional developments and the Muslim internal conflict.
The lawmaker said it was an international norm to respect worship sites and sanctities however the regime has shown it has no regard for the norm. The lawmaker said relevant world bodies are supposed to defend the cultural heritage of nations.
He called on the UN, the UNESCO, the Non-aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international bodies to counter against the regime's moves.
