Protest in Tel Aviv, Yafa against Prawer plan

150 protestors gathered at a central intersection in Tel Aviv to publicly oppose the Prawer plan.

The protestors marched towards HaBima Square carrying signs with many messages including, "No to expelling and no to uprooting.

About 150 people, most of who belong to the Islamic Movement, are rioting in Yaffa against the Praver plan to resettle Bedouins in the Negev.

No public disturbances were reported.

On November 30, demonstrations took place in nearly 30 cities across Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza, as well as around the world on Saturday, in a "Day of Rage" against the Prawer Plan.

It was the third "Day of Rage" against the plan so far this year.

The Israeli regime in January approved the Prawer-Begin Bill, calling for the relocation of 30,000 - 40,000 Bedouin, the demolition of about 40 villages and the confiscation of more than 700,000 dunums of land in the Negev.
