Israeli punishing resistance by attacking Gaza

An Iranian expert in Middle East affairs says the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza have come as a punishment for the opposition of Palestinians against the US Secretary of State, John Kerry’s plan for a future Palestinian state.

Director of the Secretariat in Support of the Palestinian Intifada, Hussein Sheikholeslam made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna.

The expert said the Zionist regime’s shelling of Gaza on Tuesday in which two Palestinians, including a toddler girl lost their lives “was no news in the 65-year history of the faked Israel.”

The expert said the aerial and tank shelling aimed to press the Palestinians to relinquish their inalienable rights over the historic Palestine.

In another regard, the pro-Palestinian activist denounced Kerry’s plan as so laughable that no Palestinian is ready to accept it.

The expert said unlike the proposal, the Palestinian nation would uphold the option of resistance and would keep it tight until the entire Palestinian land is freed.
