1850 African immigrants evicted from Israel

The number of African immigrants from Sudan and Eritrea who have been evicted from Israel in 2013 stands at 1,850, according to statistics released Thursday night.
This figure is four times the number of immigrants evicted in 2012, said the Israeli Population and Immigration Authority.
Last year, Israel launched an operation dubbed “Going Home”, which combines a police crackdown with financial incentives for the immigrants.
The immigrants have already been suffering from endless harassment, fear and violence in Israel.
