Israeli challenges in 2014

A Palestinian political expert believes that the Israeli government has more than a few challenges to deal with in 2014.
In an article in Paltoday, A'mer Adnan said Israel faced serious challenges in several regions in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, and Palestinian Authority.
The expert also cited Palestinian resistance movements as an additional source of challenge for Israel.
As for Saudi Arabia, the expert said Israeli intelligence services have realized that the Saudi people have discontent for their government's ill-advised intervention in Syria. He said the Zionist authorities have held regular meetings with Saudi authorities to review the problem, especially in light of the rising power of Iran and its deal with the P5+1 group.
As for Turkey, the expert said Israel was very worried about the outcome of the next parliamentary and municipality elections in the country set for March 2014. Adnan argued that the election results are likely to turn Turkey from its current status as an Israeli ally to a foe for the Zionist regime.
As for the Palestinian Authority, the expert said if Israeli talks with the authority end up in failure, Tel Aviv's problems would multiply.
The expert added that the power of resistance groups in Palestine and Lebanon were on the rise. He noted that Jihadi groups were also rising on the Egyptian and Syrian borders, adding to Israeli concerns. The expert said the groups can easily target deep into Israel with their missiles.
The expert suggested that Israeli authorities, well aware of the multitude of challenges have become ready to give some concessions to mend the risky situation.
