Jafari slams Muslims for ignoring Aqsa

Former Iraqi prime minister Ibrahim Jafari has strongly criticized the Islamic community for ignoring the al-Aqsa mosque developments under the specter of religious discord.

The Iraqi politician made the remarks in the first day of the 27th conference on Islamic Unity in Tehran on Friday.

The politician warned that the mosque was subject of harshest ever Zionist attacks while Muslims are fomenting their own internal discords.

The former Iraqi politician said the dignity and fate of the world of Islam was bound to the holy Quds issue.

The Iraqi politician also touched on the Iraqi internal clashes and said western media seek to cast the internal clashes as a clash between Shii and Sunni groups however the reality on the ground is different and the media too would not be successful in the conspiracy.
