Takfiri current threatens Palestinian issue

An Iranian expert in East Asian (Middle East) affairs suggests that the most perilous threat facing the Palestinian issue is the expansion of Takfiri tendency under the sponsorship of the triangle of US, Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia.

Hassan Kanani Moqaddam told Qudsna that these three are pushing for the expansion of the Takfiri thought in a bid to undercut the Islamic Awakening movement.

The expert noted that the Palestinian issue got the topmost place in the agenda of the Islamic community following the emergence of the Islamic awakening movement, prompting the west to feel the threat and seek to undermine the movement.

"They expanded the Takfiri thought so that Muslims are got involved in internal conflict" and leave the Palestinian issue, the expert said.

The expert said the triangle of states seeks to divert the world attention from the Palestinian issue to Takfiri terrorism. "They also seek to replace those who resist the Zionist regime (of Israel) with those who are inclined to make compromise with the US and Israel," he added.

The expert said unity was an imperative issue for the world of Islam nowadays.

"Takfiri groups have no popular stand. They only keep living through the equipments and help rendered by the Arab-Western axis," the expert said, alluding to the western and Arab countries who are fomenting terrorism in Syria.
