Gaza university, 1st among local, Arab universities

Islamic University of Gaza has achieved a big jump in ranking among top universities in Arab World and achieved the first university on the Palestinian universities and the Arab world.

Meanwhile, the Islamic University of Gaza is awarded the International Prize ‘Best University’ for leading positions in educational sphere, which took place in Oxford, UK, 16-19 December 2013, and organized by Europe Business Assembly (EBA), through the Oxford Summit of Leaders ‘Science and Education’ .

The Award is offered for to academics, university presidents and rectors, scientists and researchers, investors all over the world The Summit was opened by Prof. John Netting, EBA Director General and Dr. Wil Goodheer, President of the Club of the Rectors of Europe (CRE).

On December, 17 the best world representatives of science and education were recognized with prestigious international awards at the Socrates Award Ceremony in the Main Hall of Oxford Town Hall.

The function honored outstanding university rectors, scientists and managers of innovative enterprises.
