Israel: Hamas holds hundreds of M75 rockets
Hamas has substantially bolstered its capacity to fire on the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem'), Tel Aviv and the rest of central Israel, Israeli newspaper Israel Today claimed Tuesday, admitting that the Israeli effort to reduce the rocket threat from Gaza has failed.
The daily claimed the Hamas government have invested heavily in producing their own M-75 rockets, with a range of 75 kilometers and more, and now have an arsenal of dozens of the rockets and that the governemnt will have dozens more by the end of this year.
The daily said accordingly that the next round of conflict with Gaza will be focused on central Israel.
The daily also warned that Israel’s missile defense systems may not be able to deal effectively with the expected launch of numerous M-75s in large, simultaneous barrages.
