Gaza attack, reprisal for defeat in Syria

A senior Iranian lawmaker says the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza have come as part of a reprisal for the regime's failure against the force of resistance in Syria.

Spokesman of the parliamentary commission in national security and foreign policy, Sayyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini told Qudsna that the regime seeks to sidelines the Syrian issue by attacking Gaza.

The senior lawmaker added that any projects of the US-led anti-resistance current in the region have ended up in failure as the Lebanese resistance movement has succeeded to secure the motto of resistance in the Lebanese politics and the anti-US resistance forces are on a run of victory in Syria.

The parliamentarian said the US-led force has realized that the regional resistance is the key hurdle against their hegemonic projects.

The lawmaker regretted that certain Muslim governments are helping the force of hegemony instead of coming to rescue of the world of Islam.
