British Labour party leader set for Israel trip

British Labor leader Ed Miliband will travel to Israel next week for a three-day visit.
The Opposition leader is due to arrive in Tel Aviv on Thursday, and will hold meetings in the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') with senior Israeli political figures.
Miliband's intention for visiting Israel was first announced in February, but details were revealed only this week.
The trip will be one of the first major foreign visits of his time as party leader, and comes a month after the country's Prime Minister David Cameron addressed the Knesset.
Speaking last month, Miliband has said he now felt “more part of the Jewish community than at any other time in my life”.
He also recalled how Israel had provided sanctuary to his grandmother during the contested Holocaust time in the Nazi Germany
